Infinity Terms of Use
- Effective date
- October 22, 2026
- Last updated
- October 22, 2026
These Terms of Use (the "Terms") are an agreement between you and Infinity Artificial Intelligence Institute ("we", "us", "our") about your use of the Infinity mobile app (the "Infinity App"). By downloading, installing or using the Infinity App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Infinity App.
Our Privacy Policy explains how the Infinity App handles your information.
1. What the Infinity App does
The Infinity App lets you download AI models and run them on your device to chat, read images, transcribe speech, speak replies and generate images. Models run on your device. The Infinity App connects to the internet only to find and download models. You can report an AI reply to us at any time (Section 8.2).
2. Who can use the Infinity App
The Infinity App is for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, to use the Infinity App. By using the Infinity App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Some models have their own requirements, such as being old enough to accept their licence. You must meet the requirements of each model you use.
3. Your licence to use the Infinity App
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to download, install and use the Infinity App on devices that you own or control, for your own use, subject to these Terms and to the rules of the app store you got it from.
You must not:
- copy, modify or create derivative works of the Infinity App, except as allowed by an open-source licence that applies to a part of it;
- reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Infinity App, except where the law allows this despite this restriction;
- rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense or redistribute the Infinity App;
- remove or change any copyright, trademark or licence notice in the Infinity App;
- use the Infinity App to break the law or to infringe anyone's rights.
We and our licensors own the Infinity App and all rights in it. These Terms do not give you any right to our names, logos or trademarks.
4. The Infinity App is a platform, and the models are not part of it
The Infinity App is a tool for running AI models on your device. The models you chat with are not part of the Infinity App. We do not create, train, own, host or control them. They are made and published by third parties, such as Meta, Google, Alibaba (Qwen), Stability AI and individual Hugging Face users, under their own licences. The Infinity App only includes the engines that run models and a few small supporting components, such as a speech-detection model and a pronunciation dictionary, which are covered by their own open-source licences.
You choose which models to download and use. This applies to every model, including a model the Infinity App suggests and a model you find on Hugging Face. Each model is downloaded at your request, directly from where its publisher hosts it. The Infinity App suggests some models to help you get started. A suggestion does not mean that we made, reviewed in full or endorse that model or its output, and we may change or remove suggestions at any time.
When you download or use a model:
- you receive it under its publisher's licence, and you must follow that licence and any use policy it includes;
- you are responsible for checking that licence. The Infinity App shows the name of each model's licence, with a link to it, on the model's download sheet and detail screen. The licence is also on the model's page at its source;
- if a model requires you to accept terms or request access from its publisher (a "gated" model), that is an agreement between you and the publisher.
You are solely responsible for the models you choose to use, for what you ask them to do and for the output you create with them. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible or liable for any model, including its content, its licence, its accuracy or its output.
5. Model use restrictions
This section is an enforceable part of these Terms. Some model licences require us to pass their use restrictions on to you, and you agree to follow them.
5.1 All models
You must not use any model through the Infinity App:
- in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
- in violation of the licence or use policy of that model;
- for any purpose prohibited in Section 6.
5.2 Meta Llama models
Some models in the Infinity App are Built with Llama.
If you use a Llama 3.2 model, you agree to the Llama 3.2 Community License (https://github.com/meta-llama/llama-models/blob/main/models/llama3_2/LICENSE) and to the Llama 3.2 Acceptable Use Policy (https://github.com/meta-llama/llama-models/blob/main/models/llama3_2/USE_POLICY.md), which is incorporated into these Terms. Llama 3.2 is licensed under the Llama 3.2 Community License, Copyright © Meta Platforms, Inc. All Rights Reserved.
Some models, such as LLaVA 1.5, are built on Llama 2. If you use one of them, you agree to the Llama 2 Community License (https://ai.meta.com/llama/license/) and the Llama 2 Acceptable Use Policy (https://ai.meta.com/llama/use-policy/), which is incorporated into these Terms. Llama 2 is licensed under the LLAMA 2 Community License, Copyright © Meta Platforms, Inc. All Rights Reserved.
The Llama Acceptable Use Policies prohibit, among other things, using Llama to violate the law or others' rights, to promote violence, terrorism or the exploitation of children, to harass or discriminate, to practise regulated professions without authorisation, to create malware, to plan activities that risk death or bodily harm, to deceive or defraud, or to impersonate others. The full policies apply.
5.3 Google Gemma models
Gemma is provided under and subject to the Gemma Terms of Use found at ai.google.dev/gemma/terms.
If you use a Gemma model, you agree to the Gemma Terms of Use and must not use Gemma for any restricted use in the Gemma Prohibited Use Policy (https://ai.google.dev/gemma/prohibited_use_policy) or in violation of applicable laws and regulations. The Gemma Prohibited Use Policy is incorporated into these Terms.
5.4 Stable Diffusion models
Stable Diffusion 1.5 models are licensed under the CreativeML OpenRAIL-M licence (https://huggingface.co/spaces/CompVis/stable-diffusion-license). Stable Diffusion XL models, such as SDXL-Lightning, are licensed under the CreativeML Open RAIL++-M licence (https://huggingface.co/stabilityai/stable-diffusion-xl-base-1.0/blob/main/LICENSE.md). These models are subject to the use restrictions in Appendix A, which are an enforceable part of these Terms. You are accountable for the images you generate and how you use them.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use the Infinity App, or any output from it, to:
- create, share or promote child sexual abuse material, or sexualise or exploit minors in any way;
- create content that is illegal, or that infringes anyone's intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights;
- harass, threaten, defame, bully or discriminate against anyone;
- create sexual or intimate images of a real person without their consent;
- impersonate a person, or pass off AI output as real in order to deceive or defraud;
- plan or promote violence, terrorism, self-harm or harm to others;
- develop malware or attack computer systems;
- make automated decisions that affect a person's legal rights, employment, credit, housing, healthcare or similar;
- interfere with the Infinity App, our systems or the services the Infinity App connects to, including by sending automated or excessive requests to them.
7. AI output
Output is created on your device by the model you choose. We do not see, review or control it, unless you send it to us in a report.
AI models can be wrong. Output may be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, biased or offensive, and may look confident when it is wrong. Most models do not filter what they produce, and some image models in the Infinity App do not include a safety filter.
- Do not rely on output as a substitute for professional advice, including medical, legal, financial or psychological advice.
- Check important information before you act on it.
- Do not use output in situations where errors could cause injury, death, property damage or other serious harm.
As between you and us, you own the prompts you write and, to the extent the law allows, the output you generate. We claim no rights in them. Your rights in output may also be limited by the model's licence and by the law where you live, and output may not be protected by copyright. You are responsible for how you use output.
8. Your content and reports
8.1 Your content
Your prompts, attachments, recordings, chats and generated images stay on your device. We do not receive them unless you send them to us in a report, so we cannot back up or recover them. You are responsible for them, and you must have the rights to any photo or other material you give to a model.
8.2 Reporting AI replies
You can report any AI reply that you think is offensive, harmful, illegal or otherwise objectionable, using the Report option on the reply. The report is sent from your own email or sharing app, and only when you choose to send it. A report contains the whole conversation, its images and technical details, as described in our Privacy Policy.
By sending a report, you:
- give us permission to store, copy and review its contents for the purposes in our Privacy Policy, including keeping the Infinity App safe, enforcing these Terms and complying with the law;
- confirm that you are allowed to share its contents with us, including any photos and any information about other people in the conversation.
Do not use reports to send us content that you know is illegal to possess or share, beyond the reply you are reporting.
We review reports within 7 days and reply when we need more information or have something to tell you. Because models run on your device, we cannot change or delete a reply on your device. What we can do is, for example, warn about a model, stop suggesting it, change the Infinity App, or report illegal content to the authorities when the law requires it. You can also delete a chat yourself at any time.
9. Downloads, devices and third-party services
- Models can be large (often several gigabytes). Your mobile carrier may charge you for data, and downloads use your device's storage. You are responsible for these costs.
- Running models uses a lot of memory, processor time and battery and can make your device warm. Performance depends on your device, and some models will not run on some devices.
- The Infinity App downloads models from third-party services, such as Hugging Face. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms, including the Hugging Face Terms of Service (https://huggingface.co/terms-of-service). We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability or the files they provide.
10. Open-source software
The Infinity App includes open-source software. Its licences are listed at https://privacy.infinity.inc/mobile/notices. Where an open-source licence gives you rights that conflict with these Terms, the open-source licence controls for that software.
11. Changes to the Infinity App and these Terms
We may change, suspend or stop the Infinity App, or any feature or suggested model, at any time. We may release updates, and some features may require the latest version.
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version at this address and update the "Last updated" date. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the Infinity App before it takes effect. If you keep using the Infinity App after the change takes effect, you accept the new Terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the Infinity App and uninstall it.
12. Ending these Terms
You can stop using the Infinity App at any time by uninstalling it. We may end your licence if you break these Terms. When these Terms end, you must stop using the Infinity App and delete it. Sections 4, 5, 7, 8.2 and 13 to 18 continue after these Terms end.
13. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Infinity App, the models and all output are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranties to be excluded, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue or goodwill, arising from or related to the Infinity App, any model or any output, even if we have been told such damages are possible.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims related to the Infinity App is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the Infinity App and USD 50.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
15. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and costs, including reasonable legal fees, that arise from your breach of these Terms, your breach of a model licence or your misuse of output. This section does not apply to consumers where local law does not allow it.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts. If you are a consumer, you keep any protections that the law of your country of residence gives you and that cannot be excluded by contract.
17. App store terms
17.1 Apple
If you got the Infinity App from Apple's App Store, these additional terms apply, and they control if they conflict with the rest of these Terms:
- Acknowledgement. These Terms are between you and us only, not Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the Infinity App and its content. These Terms cannot provide usage rules that conflict with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions in effect on the date you accept them.
- Scope of licence. Your licence is a non-transferable licence to use the Infinity App on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, except that the Infinity App may be accessed and used by other accounts associated with you through Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
- Maintenance and support. We are solely responsible for any maintenance and support for the Infinity App, as described in these Terms or as required by law. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to provide maintenance or support services for the Infinity App.
- Warranty. We are solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent they are not effectively disclaimed. If the Infinity App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any, for the Infinity App to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the Infinity App, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses caused by a failure to conform to any warranty are our sole responsibility.
- Product claims. We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the Infinity App or your possession or use of it, including (a) product liability claims; (b) any claim that the Infinity App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (c) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy or similar legislation.
- Intellectual property. If a third party claims that the Infinity App or your possession and use of it infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of that claim.
- Legal compliance. You represent and warrant that (a) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country; and (b) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Developer name and address. Questions, complaints or claims about the Infinity App should be sent to us at the address in Section 19.
- Third-party terms. You must comply with applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the Infinity App, such as your wireless data service agreement.
- Third-party beneficiary. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Once you accept these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
17.2 Google Play
If you got the Infinity App from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply to your download. Google is not responsible for the Infinity App or for these Terms.
18. General
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the model licences and use policies referred to in Section 5, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Infinity App. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we do not enforce a right, we do not waive it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, or to an affiliate.
